Highlight the changes that plastic bottles can make 

on the issue of environmental protection.

Research estimate, since 1950s, more than 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic has been produced and about 60% of them has ended up in either a landfill or the natural environment. For those litter( mostly are plastic) which has been properly processed, only 9% fo them has been recycled, about 12% has been incinerated, while the rest – 79%- has accumulated in landfills, dumps or the natural environment.

What we can see is the non-recycled litter on city streets, but what we can’t see is about 80% of plastic that comes from cities ends up in the ocean. Litter dropped on the street doesn’t stay there. Rainwater and wind carries plastic waste into streams and rivers, and through drains. Drains lead to the ocean.

About 8 million tonnes of plastic enters the sea every year, and if current trends continue, our oceans could contain more plastic than fish by 2050. Under this trend, while enjoying the comfort and convenience brought by high technology, urban people are still accelerating the occurrence of this resource destruction with their behaviours.

Governments spent a lot of money on waste management infrastructure, employing thousands of people and spanning hundreds of operations. Under this service system, people become more careless about the disposal of rubbish and have more reasons not to dispose of it. ——‘there are no enough place in garbage can’ ‘the ground is already messy’ ‘there are not enough garbage cans’.

The resources of earth is not equitable. People live in urban city have more resources than poor areas and they enjoyed high-technology or other job services doing things instead of them. They don’t need to face the problems like pollution, lack of food and water, so some don’t take responsible to their behaviors even it is unsustainable. 

But people in poor areas will be most affected by this trend in the future. Because of this, citizens have more responsibility to take measures for litter pollution. And their actions will lead to effective improvement.

Whether it is litter classification or collection, even recycling, the first step of the problem is people take the initiative to drop their litter in designated collection sites, rather than in any other place.

The cover( recycled paper) acts as a support and protection, closed with a Snap Button Fastener. The buttons don’t need to be too tight so it can be reused many times until it is damaged.

Because of the cover, the soft plastic bottle is replaceable. It is as soft as a bag, so a cover is needed to support the use.
The air in the bottle can flow out with the water, so the bottle will flatten automatically. Saving a lot of space when it is thrown into the rubbish bin, and it does not require the user to do anything.

Although people do not need to do anything, through the use of the user will obviously feel the change of volume size, gradually affect the old lifestyle, enhance awareness, promote action.

Through the function of soft plastic to save space, make the recycling system in the city more efficient, can collect more garbage, reduce the accumulation of garbage is not recycled and finally into the natural pollution.

Reduce the consumption of raw materials, optimize the process from production to recycling, and make the cycle more efficient.

To some extent, this changed people’s lifestyles in the past and gradually makes people accept a behavior way that is better for the environment.
