The brief for this project was to design a typographic publication focusing on typography in the urban environment and aimed towards visual communication designers and design enthusiasts. For my publication I explored the concept of graffiti tags as an expression of property ownership and the complex and hidden layers of meaning surrounding it.
I communicate this idea through typographic detailing and the experimental exploration of hand made type and image to further comply with or rebel against the written content within the publication.
