This challenge was created by @UI/UX Trainer. It's a weekly challenge, posted on every Wednesday and Saturday with a total of 10 shots. The challenge was interesting with its variety already, but I took it to a higher level to get out of my comfort zone and challenge myself with different themes, colors and aesthetics every week.
It was a doing and learning progress for me! Hope that you can see how much I've grown through out the challenge.
# DAY 01: Redesign Bluezone App
Bluezone App alert the users if they have been in close contact with people who has tested positive for COVID-19.
The challenge is to redesign its interface. Keeping the branding, elements and color, I challenged myself to re-organize information for a better flow and work on its hierarchy.

# DAY 02: Flight Booking
It’s Christmas time! So I thought it would be fun to play around with Christmas aesthetic.
# DAY 03: Language Learning
Taking inspiration for all the features from Google Translate, I challenged myself to work with gradient.
At first I was greedy, I find it hard to keep the interface simple & clean, but finally I manage to come up with this final design.

# DAY 04: Horoscope
Feel like I can do more and better work, so I challenged myself once again with the gradient.
The original challenge was to design a horoscope app for people that are obsessed with the stars, I figured out hologram color would fit perfectly with the theme. Looking back, if I could do this shot again, I would like to invest more on the icons!
# DAY 05: Food App
For this next challenge, I want to work with illustration. It's interesting to know how illustration can bring so much life, color and vibe to an interface. Since the idea was an application for ordering desert, juice and smoothie, I figured it would fit best with a vibrate, soft and feminine illustration.
Since the illustration is strong on itself already, I tended to keep other elements simple and clean with a touch of vibrate color to match with the illustration.
# DAY 06: Furniture App
Moving on from the illustration challenge, it's time to work with pictures!
The tricky thing I found about working with pictures is that we can't control the colors. Therefore, learning from Instagram and Pinterest, I went with a neutral palette - keeping the brand color and all the rest are just neutral.
# DAY 07: Gaming App
After receiving the challenge, I immediately thought of The Queen's Gambit - a Netflix series I was watching at the time.
I challenged myself to transform the movie's aesthetic into an interface. I collected pictures and inspiration from the series, figured out the color palette, picked a serif font because it carried the classic and mysterious vibe of the film and searched for suitable illustrations, pictures for the app.
Voila, it's definitely a fun process and I would love to do it again! It trained me to analyze an aesthetic and turn it into graphic elements.
# DAY 08: Budgeting App
Dark Mode here we go!
Not gonna lie, I was struggling a little bit since it's hard to play with color in dark mode. I figured out that the best way is to keep it simple and clean. And also gradient with different shades of dark is really helpful to create depth in the design.
# DAY 09: Pet App
Thinking of pet, I immediately thought of fun, entertaining, joyful theme. And what's the best way to deliver those rather than a colorful aesthetic. So for this shot, I challenged myself to play with color.
For the structure of the app, I took inspiration from a website called adoptapet.com and thinking what if this website was an app, what would it look like. For the color scheme, I took inspiration from children drawing, kid brands, Google, etc.
# DAY 10: Audible App
It's time to play with aesthetic one last time! But for this shot, it's not coming from a movie.
I thought of what a bookworm would find attractive. Searching for inspiration in photos of book stores, book cafes, book covers, bookworm aesthetics etc, I found some similarities among them like wood, coffee, trees, paper,.. and finally came up with this design.
