Adobe After Effects Task
We have to create vector graphics using Adobe Illustrator because it's harder to do in After Effects. Each objects are on different layers so they become individual objects when you import them into After Effects.
You use keyframes for the animations. Alpha track matte can be used to mask objects to maintain their shapes.
The objects transition by morphing into another object. The trick is to keyframe a part of an object so it has the silhoutte of the object it will transition into. The details can be added later on after the transitions. Paths can be keyframed for transitions from simple shapes to irregular shapes, like the side of a cup.
Transition from photo(purple) to phone(red). The photo is keyframed and scaled down so it matches the phone's shape.
