This project is the result of an illustration online course
taught by the very talented Daniele Caruso on the platform Domestika.
From moodboard to thumbnail sketch to create a composition of a traditional Japanese snake wrapping around a football with decorative peonies. A larger and detailed hand sketch sketch is then scanned to start creating black and white vectors in illustrator, and ultimately apply colors and background details. The course has helped me develop different approach of digital shading techniques and color application.
