This is a lyrical poster I designed for Simple Plan of their song "Astronaut" of my favorite lyrics of the song that I feel best highlight the meaning of the song as a whole. The art work is all original the photography and painting. The words I highlighted are to emphasize key words the really point out the meaning of the lyrics in the song. I chose a black canvas that I have painted to look like the night sky, and a night photo I had taken a few years back of a traffic light and merged them together to make the background have more depth. This is verse means that when people make us feel lost and alone we start to believe, but we have to remember that we are not the only ones to feel this way and that we just need one people to make us feel like a belong. The poster I wanted to display the wonder and vastness of space and the bright white, bubble typeface remind me of astronauts and satellites in space and the color blue was used from the background.
