Apart from design, I also dedicate myself to the practice and research of some Brazilian traditions, such as Maracatu and Bumba-boi (both from northeastern Brazil). In 2019, I spent a month recording the Bumba-boi festivities in Maranhão. With this material, I developed some analog compositions that’s celebrates the meeting of two universes that I transit through, graphic arts and tradicional traditions.
