I created this artwork a few days after the passing of my grandfather, Alfred (Fred) Kirchner. He worked as a plasterer for many years. In the early 90s, he drove the MB 100. I fondly remember the times when my grandpa would visit us and I was allowed to ride along with him. The image of the MB 100 is deeply etched in my mind, and whenever I see it, it reminds me of my grandpa.

I always have this picture of my grandpa standing in front of his MB 100 after a long, hard day at work.
