A set of illustrations for Prevent Child Abuse America. More than 30 sketches and as a result 21 vector illustrations will be used in a website and as print materials.
PCAA is the nation’s oldest and largest organization based in New York, committed to preventing child abuse and neglect before it happens. They promote programs and resources informed by science that enable kids, families, and entire communities to thrive—today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.
It was an honor to take a small part in such a powerful mission.
In the first approach, I've chosen the palette based on "peachy" and dark blue tones. It allowed conveying the right mood on the first color sketches. But for a large set of illustrations, it wasn't flexible enough and could potentially look boring. To avoid this effect I've made three color schemes with unifying "peachy" colors.
