The conflict between North and South Korea has existed for generations and I had a real curiosity to find out just how different the once united countries are.
This project takes design inspiration from traditional Korean tapestry art, while communicating the key contrasts in a less traditional visual language.
The following sheets were taken from my sketchbook research. The contrasting style of these brought the design concept in a full circle, reflecting just how different the two places are. This was then made into a zine/ guide to read with the above tapestry.
