I read a lot of articles based on how women are discriminated against in the games industry. Women working in gaming have been known to face vicious and sexist abuse from gamers and have also faced roughly three times more harassment than men when playing online.
Author Laura Bates talks about Everyday Sexism. I used this audio, creating a 2D animation to interrupt sexism through a series of retro games
Some examples of my concept;
The woman level choice only has a selection of ‘hard’ levels, whilst the man has a choice
The man already has an advantage and started in first place though the scores were both 0

Though man won, scores and levels started unfairly, woman was discriminated against from the beginning and the game was unfair

GAME OVER but not only for this game.
GAME OVER to Sexism
