Jake Guzan Assignment 3 Soundscape (07)

Woody Guthrie’s “Dust Bowl Blues” was recorded off a documentary on the Dust Bowl.  Voiceovers and the hammer strikes were recorded with a Snowball microphone. The wind is a combination of “Whistling wind” and “Erie wind” sourced from the “Kaboom” sound effects section of the resources folder on the GCC server.  The voice of the father is panned left and the voice of the child is panned right to create an illusion of direction.  The wind starts off balanced, but pans to the right towards the end. All the voiceovers were cleaned up with the noise reduction tool.
