Em Julho do ano 2007 fui a convite da agencia de fotografia Ilhapress, do fotógrafo Helder Santos, acompanhar o Club Sport Marítimo, equipa da primeira liga do Futebol Português, na sua pré época no Egipto. Depois de mil peripécias no Cairo lá chegamos a Alexandria onde estivemos a maior parte dos dias. Guardo experiencias extremamente positivas desta viagem, hoje ao olhar para estas imagens pergunto me qual terá sido o futuro de algumas das pessoas que com um sorriso com um simples olhar comunicaram comigo.

In July 2007, I was invited by the photography agency Ilhapress, by photographer Helder Santos, to accompany Club Sport Marítimo, a team from the first league of Portuguese Football, in their pre-season in Egypt. After a thousand adventures in Cairo, we arrived in Alexandria, where we spent most of the days. I have extremely positive experiences of this trip, today when looking at these images I wonder what the future of some of the people who with a smile with a simple look communicated with me will have been.
