Réalisé en 2018, L’Hôtel Le Germain Ottawa se démarque par sa sobriété et son élégance. En plus de la conception architecturale et intérieure menée par LEMAYMICHAUD, la partie signalétique a été visualisée pour s’harmoniser à ces espaces tout en se démarquant.
UN JEU DE FORMES Un assemblage de formes modulaires structure ce système signalétique, créant un rappel avec des éléments présents dans l’hôtel et démontrant une préoccupation à s’harmoniser avec ces nouveaux espaces. La famille signalétique couvre les besoins directionnels et d’identifications dans les espaces communs, et de répertoire dans les escaliers de secours. Finalement, un système de pictogrammes a été conçu en évoquant l’élégance et le chic.
Built in 2018, Le Germain Ottawa Hotel stands out for its sobriety and elegance. In addition to the architectural and interior design led by LEMAYMICHAUD, the signage and wayfinding system was imagined to harmonize, yet to stand out, within the space.
A SET OF FORMS Structured as an arrangement of modular geometric forms, this signage system references existing elements of the interior design, demonstrating desire to integrate these new spaces. The signage family covers directional and identification needs in all common spaces and directory signage can be found in the stairwells. In addition, a pictogram system was designed to reflect the elegance and chic of the Hotel.
