I was lucky enough to to get the opportunity to illustrate the book cover for The Crow Folk written by the wonderful Mark Stay. Below is my process and initial concepts. Published by Simon & Schuster. A big thank you to the AD Matthew Johnson.
The above design was was worked up to final, however looked too young so I took the cover in a different direction. The silhouette composition was dropped and I made the illustration a full bleed landscape instead.
