Bandas Orientales is a collaborative endeavour that leans on One Laptop Per Child and Plan Ceibal projects providing educational contents and resources.

Illustrators, scriptwriters, educators and storytellers from Uruguay join their efforts in order to craft comic book stories that introduce historical events in an engaging and fun way for primary school students.
