Armada (mesh) and Concreta (concrete) emerged from sketches related to two huge inspirations of mine: typography and architecture. It's a little trip from Suprematism to Brazilian Modernist Architecture, thinking the grid as the steel mesh in reinforced concrete to build some impossible structures in the real world. This 3D aspect is yet to be explored, as is another layer, called Cerâmica (ceramics), to bring a decorative flavor into this mix in the form of tiles. This is a work in progress...
