IRNBY — Website Redesign

This project is a redesign of the IRNBY websiteThe goal was to solve problems in the existing site:

1. Form is more important than the content. Product photos are often overlapped by functional elements. In the catalog, the photos are cropped into a square, which prevents a person from seeing the product.

2. Complexity due to unnecessary elements. There is an abundance of icons that complicates the understanding of the site. The elements on the left side of the header are separated by vertical bars, while on the opposite side there is no such division at all.
The arrow in the product card tells us that if we click on the card, we will go to a new page. The fact is that people already intuitively know about it.

3. Cracked layout grid and poor spacing. The elements in different blocks of the site seem to align according to their own rules, rather than general ones for the whole site.

4. Unusual site logic. For example, the element titled "Have a question?" along with the e-mail of the store is placed in the middle of the header, whereas people are more likely to look for it in the footer. The item titled "Free delivery anywhere from $228" looks like a link and doesn't seem to fit into the clothing categories block. And so on...

In this project, the existing problems were solved. The emphasis was on product pictures. The purpose of functional elements is to help when they are needed, but not to interfere when the client tries to see the product. Therefore, the site is minimalistic and functional.
