: CANCEL OR SAVE

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the human desire to communicate led to a society-wide shift to the virtual world. Aligning with the new normal, the KUCD GRAD SHOW 2020 will be held virtually.

The slogan, ‘CANCEL OR SAVE’ carries the optimistic message of not letting the current situation ‘CANCEL’ the exhibition, but rather ‘SAVING’ it in a different format. The exhibition also seeks to showcase a new role that visual-communication design will have in this new world. The sixty-seven participants present their works to deliver these messages.

We encounter countless ‘CANCEL OR SAVE’ moments while saving our data in the digital environment. To save our past efforts and to build on for a better future, our choice will always be ‘SAVE.’ While the society is physically apart, communication is something we must ‘SAVE’ until we come back together again.
