General Ahn Yong-bok fought against them several times as the Japanese frequently invaded our territory, Ulleungdo and Dokdo.

He went to Japan with colleague and confirmed that Ulleungdo and Dokdo are our land.

And he defended our territory by receiving a memorandum from Japan's Edo Shogunate that he would not invade again.
