Hey, I'm Kat! I'm a high-end retoucher, and I got to play with the future of fashion in the coolest way! The collaboration with Alexander Croft for the "STARSHIP" editorial is a testament to this vision, blending fashion with cosmic fantasy.

Imagine a photo studio turned into a space scene straight out of a movie, complete with a life-size R2D2 – that's where "STARSHIP" came to life. We wanted to make you feel like you're on a journey through the stars.

Each photo got some special treatment to really show off our space-age look, with colors that pop like in a cosmic adventure.

As the retoucher, my task was to ensure the editorial images not only showcased the models and fashion in a futuristic light but also reflected the otherworldly theme with precision. This involved advanced non-destructive retouching techniques and a tailored color grading approach to align with the chosen color scheme.

Non-Destructive Retouching: Employing techniques like Dodge&Burn to enhance imagery without losing detail.

Color Grading: Applying a triadic blue/green/red color scheme to complement the photographer's vision and make the concept come alive.

Consistency Maintenance: Ensuring each photo maintained stylistic and thematic consistency throughout the series.
