Concept
Dolphin coffee is a small coffee shop in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan). Its owner considers the main mission of his establishment to be bringing benefit and joy to people, which is why he chose the dolphin as the main symbol.
Starting the design development, a big question arose before me - how to combine such an animal as a dolphin with a coffee theme? Cold sea and blue with a hot and cozy drink. The solution to this issue was the idea to show comfort and emotions in the logo itself, with the help of the image of a "kind dolphin".
Later, while studying the references, I noticed that in 99% of cases, dolphins are portrayed jumping over water, which is boring and not at all unique. In my case, this option did not work, and I decided to portray a dolphin swimming up to the shore and stretching its nose to people.

Dolphin coffee — небольшая кофейня в г. Нур-Султан (Казахстан). Её владелец считает основной миссией своего заведения — приношения пользы и радости людям из-за чего он и выбрал, в качестве основного символа, дельфина.
Начиная разработку дизайна, передо мной встал большой вопрос - как совместить такое животное как дельфин, с кофейной темой? Холодное море и синий цвет с горячим и уютным напитком. Решением этого вопроса стала идея, показать уют и эмоции в самом логотипе, с помощью образа "доброго дельфина".
Далее, изучая референсы, я обратил внимание на то, что в 99% случаев, дельфинов изображают в прыжке над водой, что скучно и совсем не уникально. В моём случае такой вариант не подходил и мной было принято решение изобразить дельфина подплывающим к берегу и тянущимся своим носом к людям.
