IKEACORE is an electronic music project created for Alessandro Funari, who commissioned the visual part of his project to me. As he describes his project "the nature of Ikeacore is to create music against the ultra-capitalistic world and modern slavery, where humanity is replaced by non-stop work, overnight working tasks and a hope for a better and more balanced society".
I created his logo, as well as giving it some branding and aesthetic look that would reflect his vision of contemporary society, together with his sounds characteristics.
His desire was to start from the fame that Ikea represents on the contemporary pop culture and distort that in a way that an ultra-capitalist brand serves as an automatic speaker for an anti-capitalist entity as IKEACORE is.
