Indonesian is one country that has a lot of cultural diversity. With cultural diversity in the archipelago, can be used as a medium of communication and learning tools to perform the search history of life .. One is the Cirebon mask dance from West Java which is still often is implemented but only on a specific event so that most teenagers do not know even know a lot of the traditional arts, it happens because the discussion of culture is only present when a particular event in each school thus less spread evenly and also discussion about culture merely common knowledge in schools and the media presented the cultivation less attractive teenagers to better know and recognize the artistic traditions. Therefore, the decision about the topic of the Cirebon mask dance through the medium of book illustration was done and made a final design. In 5W1H methods used to analyze the problem, and the SWOT matrix method for analyzing media plan that will be used. This design aims to attract teens to know, learn, and help preserve the cultural
treasuresthat exist in Indonesia.
