SATURN | 2021
This concept is inspired by the sixth planet from the sun - Saturn. The structure of Saturn is combined with glass and aluminum, to create a futuristic and minimal design. The aluminium ring deliveries a strong connection to the Saturn, while making the lamp lightweight enough for magnetic levitation. The ring is engraved with the right ascension, the declination and distance form the sun. The gradient black color fades from bottom to top, adding a gorgeous visual effect to the glass shell.
