Este projeto foi realizado no final do segundo ano do curso, um projeto de grupo composto por quatro elementos. A proposta consistia em fazer um projeto partindo da palavra "movimento".

This project was carried out at the end of the second year of the course, a group project composed of four elements. The proposal consisted of making a project where the inspiration was the word "movement".

Para além da abertura de latas, este produto apresenta outras funções como abertura de frascos, através da remoção da tira em silicone que envolve a pega superior, abertura fácil e abre caricas.

In addition to opening cans, this product has other functions such as, jar opener, by removing the silicone strip that surrounds the upper handle, easy opening and open bottle caps.

O mecanismo é realizado por meio de engrenagens, estando interligadas ao manípulo e à roda recartilhada. Para além do tamanho do manípulo, de forma a reduzir a força exercida para proceder ao corte da lata, foi colocada uma relação de transmissão entre três engrenagens.

The mechanism is made by a set of gears, being interconnected to the handle and the knurled wheel. In addition to the size of the handle, in order to reduce the force exerted to cut the can, a gear ratio was placed between three gears.
