Rich and Elegant
"High on the homeowners' list was to fully utilize allthe available space."
The owners of this 1970's Canyon Meadows home hadbeen thinking about and planning their dream kitchen for some time, and had alist of features they wanted to incorporate. They called in Casa FloresCabinetry to create custom cabinetry that would accommodate all of theirwishes.
High on their list of priorities were high-endappliances that would make life more convenient and contribute to the rich lookand feel of their new kitchen. Casa Flores built custom cabinets to accommodatethese new appliances, including a cabinet with pull-out shelf for the built-incoffeemaker and cup warmer, a custom base cabinet that accommodates both theoven and cooktop, and a tall cabinet that houses both the dishwasher andcombination oven/microwave. Custom panels on the fridge and dishwasher give thecabinetry a seamless look Also high on the homeowners' list was to fullyutilize all the available space. The cabinetry was extended around the fullperimeter of the kitchen, thereby eliminating an existing eating nook andreplacing it with an eating bar between the kitchen and dining room. Manycabinets were custom-sized to accommodate specific appliances such as a breadmakerand drink machine.
The cabinet doors are maple with a solid reverse-Shakerpanel, finished with a rich burgundy stain. Complementing the cabinetry is astunning Creme Bordeaux granite.
