In early 2020, Vintage Church studied the incommunicable attributes of God and the ways God is vastly different from humans. To help do this beyond Sundays people were encouraged to purchase and read None Like Him by Jen Wilkin. In her book, Wilkin lays out how we foolishly and pridefully try to be like God, and makes the case that if instead we trust God, he’ll provide everything we need. Through this series we studied the ways we’re missing out on peace and joy due to our pointless striving to carry weight only God can carry.

The photos for this series showed the hubris of humans when we stubbornly cling to our own ability of becoming completely self-sufficient.
