This project was created for the students to understand the process of Design (Design Thinking).
The task given was to redesign the homepage of an e-commerce website, FisheShop.
The students had to analyse and list out the mistakes and issues with the current design.
They found out that the original design had poor navigation, poor choices of colors and alignment, complex interface and bad hierarchy.
Mind-mapping and Brainstorming was done to come up with solutions for the above mentioned issues. They also came up with design inspirations that will be used as a starting point to build their prototypes.

With these inspirations in mind, we built 3 versions that had simpler navigation, better aesthetics and user-friendliness for first-time and returning customers.
Students understood the importance of empathy, application of design fundamentals, design thinking, layout fundamentals, design documentation and testing.
