STARHOTELS - Business Palace
The project focuses on Business Palace, which is a part of the Starhotels group.
Situated South-East of Milan city center, it is targeted at guests who are travelling for business. The colours, materials and shapes chosen are chosen with the aim to create a calm atmosphere for the guests. There is a strong push to including art & artifacts from local artists in Italy.
Sustainability and greenery was also a large factor in this project with it being some of the main factors in our project. Like using vegan leather made from leftovers from wine production and a large glass greenhouse-style tube.

The Business Palace is orientated towards guests who visit Milan for work. With this in mind we created spaces where informal meetings can be held and people can work together on their projects.
An important value to the hotel is their Milanese heritage so we created specific pieces of furniture so local artists work can be displayed and appreciated by guests.
We added several functions to the hotel spaces. The space below is a giftshop which sells artisanal pieces which are made within Italy and more specifically within the city of Milan. Focusing on sharing the craft of local artists.
The second functions is the space below which is an information center where hotel guests can visit as to find places to visit and things to do within the city of Milan.
