After being hurt by someone I trusted, I began to sketch as an outlet for my hurt. I was dwelling on the phrase “actions speak louder than words” and wanted to discover a way to express myself louder through the use of my pen.

 

Challenge
How could I visually translate my emotional state and anger over my betrayal into a written word?

 

Solution
My favorite pen and my emotions took over as I created a bold and aggressive font that made my words speak as loud as the actions that hurt me. In that moment, I created the six letters in the word “Louder.” I was later able to harness that inspiration to complete the 26 capital letter font and 10 numerical font.
