This is my concept project for the capital of Poland, Warsaw. The idea to create an identity for the rules for sorting garbage came to my mind when I paid attention to the design of a garbage truck that comes to my house every day. After that I noticed the icons on the trash cans around the house; they are all different sizes and different styles. What surprised me most was that in each shopping center, the same types of garbage are represented by different colors. I went to the official site for sorting garbage in Warsaw and compared the colors on the site with the colors in the shopping centers and on various sites where you can buy signs for trash cans. I realized that there is no single identity and no single rule for using colors and icons. So I decided to make a concept project on a uniform identity for sorting garbage in the city of Warsaw.
