Playing around with my Canon Eos R6 and having a go at manual mode. My cat became a willing subject of my attention whether he knew it at the time is up for debate. I took photos of him in varying positions and levels of light, using different focal length, exposure, iso, shutter speeds and the like. The following are what I was able to achieve.

The first image here is a black and white rendition of a colour photo I took of my cat gazing upwards towards something that has grabbed his attention.

This image is also a Black & White rendition of a colour image showcasing that now the majestic ruler now surveys his kingdom.

Here is the image in colour as you can see the difference it makes to the overall image is quite telling.

This is the final image as you can see quite a different effect is presented when you compare the colour and Black & White images.
