The poster represents the leopard’s scratches as if they were his signature on the festival canvas, like a film director or painter signing a script or artwork.
The poster image slides slightly to the right evoking the movement of the film: a continuous going forward frame by frame.
A new identity of the Locarno Film Festival where it is possible to perceive the presence of the animal without actually seeing it, focusing on the gesture that itself becomes the protagonist element. A shape recalling the leap, the speed and the movement of the leopard.
