The children's map of Split, Solin, Kaštela and Trogir was created thanks to the project SCOUT CITY - grad po mjeri djece. The project is funded by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia and partly by the finances of the Split - Dalmatia County, and the project was supported by the City and the County.
The map provides children and parents with a clear picture of all possible contents offered to children outside of school. It offers a range of information on extracurricular activities, and it includes all primary schools, city museums and monuments.
With the engagement of a landscape architect, we turned this map into an excellent didactic aid in biology, especially related to the biological heritage of our city and surrounding areas - which the map could include.
Here we can point out:
• characteristic Split trees
• simple vegetation map of Marjan
• listed Mediterranean plants from the Hajduk theme park “For all time”
• areas protected by the regulations of the Natura 2000 protection system.
• areas protected by the regulations of the Natura 2000 protection system.
In addition to all the above, the map also contains:
• places in Split with publicly available drinking water (without water on the beaches)
• stations of the city network of electric bicycles
• bicycle paths
• places available for pets
• places available for pets
• all children's playgrounds under the jurisdiction of Parkovi i nasadi
