The concept focuses on the ergonomy and best comfort of use. It is taking into account all different standard ways of installation of the thermostatic valves – that means perpendicular to the wall and parallel to the wall both horizontal and vertical. To provide comfort legibility of the displayed information, the display is bent over two sides of the valve. The front-facing half of the display serves as a status display, that can be cursorily checked from further distances. The upper half of the display serves when the user approaches the valve and want to adjust the temperature directly. The display uses e-ink technology so the static information can be displayed permanently without any energy consumption.
