Space in Space
During the COVID-19 pandemic, most of us started spending more time than usual at home. This time is also an opportunity to get to know our new working space, our home. The points that we don't normally care about in the house, now become our new activity areas. We started laughing, crying, sleeping and working in the same place. Not only home and work, but also our space and feelings began to mix.
The reason I use blue tones in my work comes from the phrase "feeling blue". There are sadness and stress on the news, but we should continue to live, it is inevitable to have the excitement of this.
While working during the day, we discover different points at home our personal space. Our
balcony, become the most important place in the house. We include it in our field of work. The staircase we use to go to our room becomes a space where we can sit and think.
After the pandemic, I think that our workspace will be included in the space where I spend our daily life. I wonder if the elimination of the big offices will actually free us and choose our own workplace. In my work, I tried to explain how we use every point of the place and how our emotions get mixed up.
