Client: Cool Sounding Machine (music project).
Brief: We want a modernity with a touch of nostalgia, as if it was the identity of classic equipment from back in the day.
Solution: Return to a sense of timelessness: an intersection between today's aesthetics with yesterday's textures.
Inspiration was taken from retro equipments, the sense of metal texture, scrolling through stations while the full static lightens up the ears & the eye, the sweetness of twisting the knobs and pushing buttons, the times where we actually engaged with physicality rather than just screens.
Going back to that era rekindles the spirit of classic logos such as the ones design by Saul Bass, simplicity meets modern nature, paradoxically this project was going back to find a sense of timelessness.
