Ungrateful is an adjective that is defined as a negative attribute which is not being appreciative towards god’s given favors. This attribute is mentioned in most religions. For example, in Islam, it is very important for the people to always be appreciative and thankful of all the given favors by Allah S.W.T. In this series, it touches the consequences ungrateful humans have to face by stages and for those who have went through the same situation. From Surah Ibrahim verse 7 says, “If you are grateful, I will surely increase you (in favor). But if you deny, indeed. My punishment is severe”. When a person feels ungrateful, bad things can and will happen to them through some stages, as an example, they will face the wrath of Allah S.W.T and will be given an agonizing punishment. They will be ‘kufur’ as they have defied the commands of their creator. Next, they will become more ignorant then later, mistreat others around them. After that, those ungrateful souls will get greedier, and those who are greedy are certainly scorned. Nothing is enough to them which will end to them drowning in their sins. Lastly, their lives can never be peaceful and happy as well as always feeling anxious and depressed caused by the ruins of carnal needs that is always there to mislead humans. Being thankful is mandatory and humans must be grateful as the challenges given to us always have a solution and good fortune is always around those who seeks it.
