How many people have not smelled their fresh socks? Even after being overwhelmed by the first shot , they would take another deep breath to fill up their alveolars.
Has anyone ever thought about stinky tofu, stinky mandarin fish, canned herring and blue cheese？What state of mind do those inventors have? And what pushes them forward to evolve the flavors?
What spirit is it?
It derived from 5,000 years ago, when Shennong tasted hundreds of plants and from 1,000 years ago, when a monk went to the west with a pig, a monkey, and a river ogre. It is a spirit of adventure, towards the unknown.
Throughout the history of mankind, the subject of flavor has fascinated people for countless times.
Inspired by our ancestors’ experiences, we choose to use the parts of the Homo sapiens, which have the most varied flavors, to pay tribute to the pursuit of flavor.
Let’s talk about barista’s taste.
“Hello, here is your coffee. First you can smell the notes of melon, followed by stone fruit notes like apricot and nectarine, which give way to sweet creamy caramel and finally hibiscus. In your mouth, you'll taste rose and white peach, followed by fresh and fragrant orange blossoms, followed by the sweetness of black sugar. Faced with this little cup of sour water, I get lost. What is the flavor of coffee? Why does every barista become inspired and talkative after sipping a bit of coffee？However , no matter how hard I try, I only end up claiming “there seems to be flower taste in it …” Normally I am pretty confident with telling the difference between the taste of apricot and peach, even with my eyes closed. but when it comes to coffee, it doesn't work. Its flavor is so # indescribable#.
