I illustrated this to raise money for local food banks as a reaction to my governments basic ineptitude, and general indifference to growing poverty of the UK. All proceeds went to food charities.

The idea was that home is where you should have shelter, warmth and food. but when you are too poor to eat properly, or unable to feed your children and the government is unwilling to help, it makes life difficult. To the point that children can’t concentrate on their learning, parents don’t have the strength to keep going at work and the problem get worse.

Covid has made the situation worse, but so has the conservatives with their inaction.
