

OBJECTIVE OF CAMPAIGN
The objective of the social media campaign during 16 Days of Activism against GBV is to enhance knowledge and to disseminate information on domestic violence. The information can be about legal rights, laws against GBV, hotlines and places to seek help as well as perceptions and general
opinions about domestic violence.

To accomplish this, UNDP will ask 16 questions on domestic violence to 16 beneficiaries of UNDP’s projects and feature their answers in social media posts throughout the 16 Days of Activism. Through likes, retweets, and comments, the posts on Twitter and Facebook will be disseminated further than simply UNDP’s base of followers and we will therefore increase information and enhance awareness about domestic violence.
