The India Design Forum was launched in March 2012. In its 2nd year, IDF was hosted in the vibrant city of Mumbai. IDF 2013 visually interpreted the theme Design Matters by highlighting the omnipresence of design. Design is Everywhere, a recurrent theme throughout all verticals; print, video, web, space depicted how design decisions add, subtract, divide, multiply eventually shaping the final message. The visual language culminated to be a colorful and conversational showcase of the city and it’s relationship with design.
The event required a teaser video followed by an opening video for every speaker. We used the city as the landscape to build these videos. The videos were created while I worked with Skarma and by collaborating with Hanif Kureshi and the Brewhouse.
