Pencils! An ordinary object that is often overlooked. It's a tool that is used to draw things, mark things, erase things, maybe even hold your hair together. This project was about taking an ordinary noun and dissecting it. I needed to open my mind and let myself include everything that came to mind when I thought of pencils. I carved the letter mark to look like two pencils making a "P". You can see a picture of that decision process down below. We learned how to bind books which was probably the most fun for me. I also learned that in my case, that when it comes to printing, the 15th time is the charm. Here is the Dropmark -link- for this project.
