Why I Give to Maryland Charities Campaign, was a internal campaign at IWIF, Injured Workers' Insurance Fund. This campaign was to help influence employees at IWIF to give to a charity that may resemble importance in their life. I wanted something that spoke to each employee in some way. I selected employees at IWIF that already dontated to their favorite charity and asked them why? Some stories are very personal others are fun and they just want a reason to give. After this internal campaign our percentage of IWIF employees giving went up.
This 11 x17 booklet was given to each employee to read and to get to know employees and to encourage them to give. I used black and white photos and a different color for each person. I felt that the photos were a visual to put a name to a face but really waht was imporant was what was in color, the meaning of giving for that person.
