3D printing is great stuff. Holding and turning an object in your hand that started off as a purely mental concept doesn't cease to astonish me.
Even when I know, as a professional dealing with this every day, that almost everything in the world around us was actually on someone's screen before it's really part of that world -and that 3D printing is really not that revolutionary in that aspect- it doesn't lose any of its magic.
