Developer content is an important facet of game advertising campaigns, as it offers a chance to speak in-depth to the community.
I've been involved with many such projects as both director and creative director, and below are a couple of my faves.   
I was the Creative Director on these dynamic Killzone 2 developer diaries.
To ensure both accuracy and flow, I pre-interviewed the developers and created a script outline that we then used as the basis of their answers on the shoot. This allowed us to have a locked down 'paper edit' to structure the edit and gameplay capture beforehand.
We shot on location at Greenham Common with direction by Diamond Bullet.
Even though it was a short turnaround, I couldn't refuse the opportunity to go behind the scenes with a Le Mans team at Estoril to direct this promo for Codemaster's excellent 'Racedriver: Grid'.
