The Australian post hardcore band Sundr charged me with the art direction of their instant classic Solar Ships. We genuinely tried to go deeper with the creation process and the guys really had a specific vision of the atmosphere in mind.
During the working sessions, we evoked Joy Division’s Closer and the minimalist work of Peter Saville, the poetry of Tarkovski and Bergman images... We tried to step beyond the classic hardcore codes and embrace a kind of surreal concept.
