Acrylic and Gradation.
On the left, the acrylic study was created to practice underpainting, as well as the fat over lean method. On the right, is a gradation study, depicting form through gradation. 
Playful Studies. 
Drawings from my personal sketchbook created over lockdown. The middle piece was made into prints and sold with all profits going towards the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. 
Camp Angels.
Digital drawing of two polar opposite characters. They are brought together through a love of fashion and camp style.
All Eyes on Him.
Experimental Collage using images from Pinterest and found materials. Primary images of the Subway used as background.
Everyone feels lonely.
A zine about loneliness and isolation in New York. Mixed media piece using, acrylic, coloured pencil, photography, and felt.

Research. 
Photos and drawings of my friend to reference throughout my project. Top left is a watercolour painting, bottom left is a continuous line drawing.

At the top, are my layers which were laser cut and used for screen printing. At the bottom are my outcomes informed my research on the previous slide.

Collage and Digital edits.
Experimental collages using a mix of magazine cutouts and primary source imagery. Taking inspiration from camp culture.
Development.
Process and experimentation for a sustained piece informed by Juno Birch.
Through the Face.
Clay self-portrait painted with acrylic and gouache. Sculpture exuding camp confidence finished with hand made accessories and spray painted TV.
Change. 
AS final piece, A1 size. Two protest posters commenting on identity. To the left is a gouache and coloured pencil self-portrait. To the right is a mixed media piece, using clay, applique, watercolour, screen printing, lino printing, and coloured pencil.
