Krystyna Chojnowska - Liskiewicz
Legendary polish sailor and the first woman to sail around the World solo. She carried out her solitary voyage across the seas for 401 days, in 1976-1978, on the yacht called "Mazurek". Her sailing route started and finished on the Canary Islands, as shown in the background of the illustration.
Martyna Wojciechowska
Polish TV journalist and presenter, traveller, mountaineer, sportswoman and writer. In 2010, she completed the Seven Summits. She creates the television series Kobieta na krańcu świata (Woman at the Edge of the World), and was the editor in chief of National Geographic Poland. She runs the charity foundation UNAWEZA, helping women around the World.
